Thirty years ago, I came to Katy as a youth pastor. With the invitation from the mayor and principal of Katy High School, we called together youth pastors from six community churches who provided youth activities for KISD sponsored events. This group began to pray together and formed a strong bond.

Thirty years later, we continue to pray and form relationships with pastors from the Katy/West Houston area and seek revival and spiritual awakening for the community and throughout our country. "The prayers and accountability is so important to me as I labor alongside the pastors of the Katy Church."

It has been a privilege for me to be a part of the West Houston-Katy community of pastors and ministry leaders since 1996. There is something very special and unique that God has been doing in this community in terms of unity of pastors in prayer. It is super exciting!

J. Edwin Orr (who spent his entire life studying the history of revival) has said, “Whenever God is preparing to send a revival somewhere, He always sets His people to praying.”

There has been a lot of unified praying going on in our community from Wednesday Noon Prayer gatherings to the National Day of Prayer to Pastors' Prayer Summits. I truly believe that we are on the brink of revival.

I am happily married to Olivia for over 35 years and have 3 children; Jorge, Christina and Carolina.

I received the Lord Jesus as my Savior at age 12. I have been serving the community sharing the gospel with all social and economic backgrounds for over 20 years. I have worked with government officials to preserve God’s will in our community and to fight against social injustice.

I worked in the private sector both in finance and education from 1983 to 1999. I was called in 1999, by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, to serve full time to do the Lord's will and am working towards my Ph.D. in Christian Counseling. My primary desire is to serve God faithfully in the task of equipping the saints for the XXI century, under the absolute leadership of the Holy Spirit.
