We foster and cultivate an atmosphere of prayer in unity centered around Jesus Christ in the following ways:
WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING
We invite pastors, pastoral staff and ministry leaders to our weekly prayer meeting every Wednesday at noon:
The Great Southwest Prayer Center
2655 S. Mason Road
Katy, TX 77450
On the first Wednesday of each month, the Katy Pastors and ministry leaders seek to cultivate unity through fellowship, breaking bread, and praying for a specific church/ministry and their mission and staff. We still meet on Wednesday 12pm-1pm but instead of gathering at The Great Southwest Prayer Center, we move to different host sites in the city.
PASTORS' PRAYER SUMMIT
All pastors and ministry leaders are invited to come away for a 24-hour retreat that includes great food, connection, and morever worship and prayer together as the city pastors.
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Every 1st Thursday of May, we kickoff 3 days of night and day prayer with a huge gathering at the Leonard E. Merrell Center interceding for our country and leaders.
FIRE ON THE ALTAR
Where many churches come together to lift worship and prayer for our families, the lost, the church, our city, America and the nations of the world. These prayer meetings follow National Day of Prayer.
GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER
Praying WITH the nations FOR the nations! Global Day of Prayer takes place on Pentecost Sunday each year. We rotate this gathering at various host churches in the city.
We invite you to visit THE GREAT SOUTHWEST PRAYER CENTER, a community prayer room located on the campus of Grace Fellowship Church. This place of prayer was consecrated by the city pastors on January 17th, 2007.
This is where the city is coming together to build 24/7 night and day worship and prayer in the city.
